HeadlinesGas supply to Punjab cities suspended after pipeline blown up

KARACHI: Some unknown miscreants blew up a 24-inch diameter Guddu-Kashmore gas pipeline of Sui Northern, causing suspension of gas supply to the Punjab cities.

According to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the explosion spawned the further shortage of 245 million cubic of gas in the system; hence, the CNG stations and industries located in Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal regions, will not be provided with the gas.

According to the schedule, the industries and CNG stations were slated today to receive gas for three days.
