ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan said on Tuesday Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) was the only hope of masses having honest working team and clear policy to address the problems of people.
While talking to private news channel, the minister said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) set record of corruption in its five-year term, adding during its government, the PPP government did nothing for the welfare of the people and destroyed economy of the Country.
The minister said that the memory of people was not so weak and they could differentiate between good and bad.
Mushahidullah further said the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the Supreme Court not for corruption but for Iqama. He said even those who had looted banks were also leveling allegations against Nawaz Sharif. It was Nawaz Sharif who improved the Country’s economy,” he said.
The minister for climate change said Nawaz Sharif was the most popular leader in the Country as during his tenure his government introduced number of development projects for socio-economic development of the people and struggled hard to make strong economy.
Mushahidullah Khan said PML-N was facing courts and presented themselves for accountability as there was not a single case of corruption proved against them.
“Nawaz Sharif respected the courts and is waiting that justice would be done”, he said.
“It has been exposed now and the whole world knows this is not accountability rather, it has turned into revenge now”, he said. “Nawaz Sharif is still living in the masses’ heart.”
