ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt. General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is hatching conspiracies to derail the present government.

Talking to a private news channel on Thursday, the minister however assured that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will complete its constitutional tenure.

The minister said that there is no situation of October 12, 1999 in the Country. He said that continuity of democratic system is beneficial for the Country and masses.

Qadir Baloch said that Country’s’ civil and military leadership are on same page regarding national issues, added that the democratic system always brings economic stability and development. He said that the incumbent government has launched many mega projects in the Country including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Moreover, he said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif believes in civil supremacy in the Country. He said that allegations of corruption were leveled against Nawaz Sharif in Panama Papers but he was disqualified on having an Iqama. He said that no corruption charges were proved against Nawaz Sharif.
