ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Thursday said that the world has acknowledged the Pakistan’s efforts in war against terrorism.

While talking to a private news channel, the minister said that Pakistan armed forces have played vital role and achieved many successes in fighting war against terror.

The minister said that armed forces’ role in war against terrorism has been commendable.

Khawaja Asif further said that all the institutions including judiciary and media are working independently in the Country. He said that the democratic system has been strengthening day by day.

In reply to a question, he said that there is no threat to democratic system in the Country.  He said that all the national institutional are working under their domain.

To another question, the minister said that the difference of opinion is the essence of democracy.
