NewsJudiciary, army have no role in Parliament: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that his party has always supported democracy in the Country, and will continue to play its positive role in the Parliament.

While address a new conference in Islamabad on Friday, the Chairman PPP asserted that judiciary and army have no role in the Parliament.

Bilawal said that PPP doesn’t want any Constitutional conflict in the Country, adding that democracy and the system are not in danger at the moment.

The Chairman PPP also dispelled the impression that they supported the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), saying it never happened; rather, his Party always supported democracy.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that actually Nawaz Sharif himself must have been endangered but democracy is safe and continues to flourish in the Country. He said that Nawaz Sharif doesn’t have any ideology rather in fact he is trying to save himself.

The Chairman of PPP categorically said that PML-N didn’t yet make any contact with PPP but even if he is called via phone, he won’t answer it.

In addition, Bilawal said that Nawaz Sharif is inciting people against judiciary in his farewell rally. He said that PPP won’t allow Nawaz Sharif to act like opposition while being in the government.

“Nawaz Sharif won’t get benefit from this rally,” Bilawal Bhutto said.

The Chairman PPP further said that new accountability law will come into force in Sindh which will be more fruitful than NAB.

Bilawal also claimed that new government would be formed by PPP, and added that in last general elections, Asif Ali Zardari had not been allowed to even launch the campaign.
