ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: While condemning the attack on Frontier Corps’ (FC) vehicle in Peshawar, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that terrorists deserve no mercy and will meet their fate soon.

Earlier in the morning, a suicide bomber riding a motorcycle struck a vehicle of security forces in Hayatabad area of Peshawar that resulted in martyrdom of FC Major Jamal Sheran and injuries to other four security personnel.

In a statement issued on Monday, the prime minister strongly condemned the suicide attack on FC’s vehicle in Hayatabad, and directed the authorities to hunt down the perpetrators of this heinous act and bring them to justice.

The prime minister also directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to provide best medical treatment to the injured.

Nawaz Sharif expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious life of FC Major Jamal Sheran in the attack and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Moreover, the prime minister said that such elements deserve no mercy and will meet their fate soon in view of the unflinching and united resolve of the entire nation against terrorism and extremism.
