Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad2 FC personnel martyred, 5 injured in blast

HANGU, Pakistan: Two Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were martyred and five others suffered injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast at Lakka Tegga area in Kurram Agency on Monday.

Sources said that banned terror organization Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) accepted its involvement in the IED blast.

Officials in political administration Kurram Agency said that the personnel of Frontier Constabulary were targeted through an improvised explosive device at Lakka Tega area when they were bringing water.

As a result of explosion, two FC personnel were martyred and five others injured. The dead were identified as Ismail and Hukum Gul while the injured persons included Gul Saadat, Zamin Khan, Matiullah and Sajid.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for being provided medical treatment.

The security forces reached the spot and started search operation.
