LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated Pakistan cricket team over its success against Sri Lanka in an important match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

Earlier, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in a thrilling match at Cardiff on Monday by 3 wickets, qualifying for the Semi Final to be played on June 14 against England.

In his message of felicitations to Pakistani team, the Chief Minister has said that Pakistani players have exhibited teamwork and have given happiness to the whole nation during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Chief Minister said that the hard work of the team and prayers of the nation have caused the team to make it to the semifinal.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the Pakistani team has exhibited best play in all fields including bowling, batting and in fielding and played with confidence today, and as a result, success has touched their feet.

The Punjab Chief Minister has expressed the hope that Pakistani team would reach to the final by playing with the same spirit and hard work in the next match.
