Earlier in the first match of the ICC main event, Host England bagged a comfortable win by defeating Bangladesh by 8 wickets at The Oval on Thursday.

While batting first, Bangladesh scored 305 runs for 5 in 50 overs with Tamim Iqbal’s 128 runs innings, recording his second Century against England and overall ninth. Liam Plunkett took 4 wickets for 59.
