Monitoring Desk: Three-month long Astana EXPO-2017 will start on June 10, 2017, reports Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency.

Astana will host SCO Summit on June 9 therefore heads of the states of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit would be guests at inaugural ceremony of Astana EXPO-2017.

According to a press statement issued by the organisers, exhibition complex is spread over 174 hectares and divided into National Pavilion of Kazakhstan, international, theme-based, company pavilions, trade and entertainment facilities. The Kazakhstan zone will tell visitors about landscape, culture, history, present days and future of Kazakhstan.

Organizers claim that Expo will present 30 international best practices organisation in the field of production, preservation, and transportation of renewable energy sources.

As may 100 countries including Pakistan will take part in EXPO-2017 that has a theme of “Energy of the Future”.

It is expected that the exhibition will be visited by 2 million tourists including 85% tourists from Kazakhstan and other from SCO states, United States and Europe.
