NationalKPK approves four development projects worth Rs 3266.505 million

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Monday approved four development projects worth Rs 3266.505 million.

In its meeting held in Peshawar under the Chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan, the PDWP deferred two projects owing to inadequate designs and strategies which were returned to the respective departments for rectification and improvements.

The PDWP meeting was attended by the Secretary Planning and Development Department Shahab Ali Shah, its members and respective administrative secretaries.

The meeting considered a total six projects pertaining to Health, Home, Agriculture, Local Government and Multi Sectoral Development sectors for the uplift of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The approved projects of Health sector included “Khalifa Gul Nawaz Medical Complex, Bannu, PC-II for Reconstruction of Women and Children Hospital, Haripur”.

In Agriculture sector, the approved project was “Establishment of Solar Tube Wells in Pk-35 Swab”.

In Multi Sectoral Development sector, the approved project was “Establishment of CPEC Cell in Planning and Development”.
