LORALAI, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that Rs70 billion had been spent on security of the Country, and no compromise would be made in this regard.

While addressing the 60th passing out parade ceremony of Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel in Loralai district of Balochistan, the minister said that some elements were against peace and progress in Balochistan province, and they were trying to lure the youth of Balochistan by taking money from Pakistan’s enemies.

The interior minister said that peace had been restored in Balochistan as a result of the government’s effective policies and sacrifices of the security forces. He lauded the FC’s role in maintaining law and order situation in the province.

The minister said that reiterated the government’s resolve to take war on terror to its logical conclusion. He said that the valiant forces played a vital role in restoring peace in the Country, and the remnants of terrorists would soon be eliminated.

Nisar further said that the work is underway on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that would bring about a revolution of development in the Country particularly in Balochistan.

Earlier, the interior minister was briefed on the law and order situation in Balochistan by the Inspector General FC Major General Nadeem Anjum.

The Inspector General FC said that the force was running 64 schools in Balochistan wherein over 19,000 children were getting education. He told that as many as 65,000 patients were also provided free medical facility.
