KARACHI Pakistan: The Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt. General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch on Saturday said that special attention was being paid towards the development of frontier regions and tribal areas.

In a meeting with the Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair in Karachi during which they discussed overall political situation in the Country, Operation Rudd-ul-Fasaad and matters of interest, the minister apprised him of the performance of his ministry.

The Sindh governor said that the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was to ensure progress and development in all the areas in the Country.

The governor said that the progress of the frontier regions and tribal areas was part of this very vision and several projects have been initiated there.

Zubair said that special attention of the prime minister on development projects was ushering in a new era of progress and development and basic facilities to the people were being provided at their doorsteps.
