Thiruvananthapuram, India: Two terrorists belonging to Daesh also knows as Islamic State (IS) from Kerala India were killed in Zabul province of Afghanistan, reports Afghan media.
According to Pajhwok news agency of Afghanistan, 17 IS terrorists were killed by Afghan forces in the province of Zabul on Thursday-Friday night.
Thiruvananthapuram Police is trying to figure out from what areas these boys who killed in Afghanistan belonged to.
Meanwhile Radio Aryana reported that two Indian nationals from Kerala were killed in airstrikes in Zabul who were fighting as Daesh (IS) foot soldiers.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan (MoD) Dawlat Waziri confirmed that two hideouts of Daesh were destroyed in the province.
Radio maintained that over 22 Indian nationals from Kerala had been documented as Daesh soldiers killed in action in Nangarhar Province since January 2017.
Meanwhile, Kasaragod district police continued arrests of Muslim youth for investigating contacts of Hafeezuddin (Hafesudheen Theke Kole) who was killed in a US drone strike in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
“We afraid that over 300 boys from Kerala have already reached Afghanistan. We have installed special unit at all airports of the province and checking all flights going to Gulf and Middle East and questioning youth if we find any doubt”, commented an official of Intelligence Bureau on the condition of anonymity.
Kerala became training camp for Daesh terrorists and federal government did not take special measures to bust terror groups despite receiving reports from provincial authorities due to unknown reasons.
