The Story was posted prior to the commencement of 14th PSL match between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators

Following a two-day break, HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 will again hit the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday night with the match between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.

Previous eight matches of PSL were played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium; however now again Dubai will have the excitement back as the third phase of HBL PSL 2017 goes underway today.

Both Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators won their respective last matches which are undoubtedly among the best in HBL History.

Karachi defeated Peshawar by surviving the blitz of Shahid Afridi whereas Quetta beat Lahore with the brilliant batting of England’s Kevin Pietersen who smashed 88 runs with 8 sixes.

However at the points table, Quetta Gladiators are at the top with 7 points following 3 wins and a tied match out of five T20s whereas Karachi Kings are at the bottom with 4 points. Karachi has so far won 2 matches out of 5 T20s.PSL 2017 Points Table

In Case of another loss, it will become almost impossible for Karachi Kings to stay in the tournament.

So far 14 matches have been played in PSL 2017 since Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament began on February 9 in United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the scheduled final in Lahore on March 5, the tournament will have a total of 24 matches in 21 days among five teams.
