ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM House in Islamabad.
During the meeting, they discussed matters pertaining to law and order and internal security.
The Countries has once again been witnessing a series of blasts for a couple of days, causing multiple casualties.
A short while after the meeting between the prime minister and the interior minister, a suicide blast struck Hayatabad area of Peshawar, and killed 2 persons and injured over 10.
Earlier in the day, three personnel of Levies Force and two civilians were killed in a suicide blast Mohmand agency.
Similarly last Monday, two Provincial Capitals Lahore and Quetta were rocked by bombings, and more than 100 persons including security officials fell victims.
The Awami National Party (ANP) leader Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour also held a meeting with the prime minister earlier in the day in Islamabad and held discussion over matters pertaining to national politics.
