ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has said that the present government is striving hard to infuse Islamic and Quranic education in curriculum besides modern education.

While Speaking as Chief Guest in National Qirat and Naat Competition at Islamabad Modal College on Monday, the minister said that it is need of hour to blend Islamic education with modern education.

The minister said that recital of Holy Quran and to read its version would be mandatory in schools on the federal level.

“We are trying to include provinces in this mission, we need educational innovation along with economical modification,” the minister said.

Sardar Yousuf said that Islam gives us to shoe affection and humanity toward others and we follow this path.

The religious affairs minister further said that this is our good fortune that we are Muslim and Quran is gift for Muslims, our success lies to follow the doctrine of Holy Quran.

On the occasion, the minister also announced Umrah package for top position holder.
