The most successful team in previous HBL Pakistan Super League (PST) edition Quetta Gladiators will face the least successful team in the last edition Lahore Qalandars in second match of PSL 2017 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Former New Zealand Captain Brendon McCullum will lead Lahore Qalandars whom players like South African Cameron Delport; England’s Jason Roy; New Zealand’s James Franklin and Grant Elliott, Australian Chris Green and West Indian Sunil Narine will also represent along with Pakistani Stars like Umar Akmal, Azhar Ali, Yasir Shah and Sohail Tanvir.

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators will once again be led by Pakistan T20 and ODI Captain Sarfraz Ahmed. Other prominent players included in the team are England’s Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright and Tymal Mills; Sri Lankan Thisara Perera; South African Rilee Rossouw; and New Zealand’s Nathan McCullum.

Fast bowler Umar Gul, Ahmed Shahzad, Asad Shafer and Muhammad Nawaz are also part of Quetta Gladiators.

In PSL 2016, Quetta Gladiators was the runner up and held the highest winning percentage 70.00%. It played 10 matches, and won 7.

Whereas Lahore Qalandars only managed to win two T20s out of 8 matches in PSL 2016, maintaining just 25.00% winning percentage.PSL 2017 matches on February 10

Today’s second match will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings at the same venue.

Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara has replaced Shoaib Malik as Karachi Kings’ Captain in PSL 2017. West Indian hard-hitting Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard along with Sri Lankan Mahela Jayawardene; South African Ryan McLaren; England’s Ravi Bopara; Shoaib Malik and Muhammad Amir will also represent the Karachi Side.

It will be the second match of Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2017 as last night, it was beaten by Islamabad United by 7 wickets.Islamabad United wins
