National'Hotel Eye' software to be installed in Rawalpindi hotels

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Police have decided to install “Hotel Eye” software in various hotels of Rawalpindi for checking and identification of suspected persons.

The software would contain all the relevant information regarding suspected, wanted and proclaimed offenders while the software will be installed in the computer located at the reception.

National identity card numbers of those staying in hotels will be fed in the computer to check all the details.

If any suspect is identified through the software, the hotel management would inform about him to the police.

It is pertinent to mention here that around 300 small and big hotels are located in Rawalpindi, however, majority of hotels doesn’t have the facility of computer at the reception.
