ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) Monday organized a puppet show and quiz competition among students of various educational institutions in connection with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary celebrations.
The Council National Puppet Theater (NPT) organized a puppet show, presenting various colorful tableaus, patriotic songs, folk dances and highlighted the struggle of Quaid for the creation of Pakistan.
The puppets encouraged the young ones to be more proactive and to strive with honesty and integrity.
The puppet show was followed by quiz competition titled “Baba-e-Quam ko Bachay Kitna Jantey hain” among the students of various schools. The students were given questions about the life and struggle of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Director General PNCA Jamal Shah, a large number of students and teachers from various schools attended the event.
Director General PNCA appreciated the student’s participation, saying that PNCA has scheduled a number of such events to pay homage to our founder Leader Quaid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He expressed the hope that more students from various educational institutions would come and participate in these events in coming days.
The students of various schools appreciated the puppet show, saying that all the performances of Puppet show were informative and glowing tribute to our Quaid.
The official of NPT said that similar puppet show will be arranged on December 25 for the students in connection with Quaid’s Birth anniversary celebrations.
PNCA has scheduled a numbers of programs till December 25 including Speech contest, Mosaic of Quaid, Hamara Quaid, Quaid’s Birthday Cake Designing, Memorable contest, Quaid Photo exhibition, Aks-e-Quaid, Competition of National Songs and Aqwal-e-Quaid in connection with Quaid Birth Day celebrations.
