Government of PakistanWe have unambiguous evidence about Indian interference in Pakistan: Asif

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif on Friday said that we had unambiguous evidence about Indian interference in Pakistan and dossiers in this regard had been presented before the World Community.

While speaking on the floor of the National Assembly on Friday, the minister said that India was supporting terrorism in Pakistan for the last many years but our armed forces over the last two years had broken the back of their terrorists.

The defence minister said that Pakistan’s armed forces were fully prepared to defend every inch of the motherland.

“We are fully capable to defend our waters, land and air frontiers,” Asif said.

Referring to the ongoing Intifada in Occupied Kashmir, the defence minister said that hundreds of the people had embraced martyrdom and lost their eye sight while braving Indian atrocities.

Khawaja Asif said that India could not afford the success of Kashmir freedom movement as it would be the end of India. He said that several separatist movements were continuing in India and if the Kashmir movement reached its logical conclusion, the other movements there would also achieve success. This would be the undoing of Indian state, he added.

Talking about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the defence minister said that this mega project would be implemented at all costs which would enhance the country’s stature not only in the region but the whole world.

The minister that the CPEC would free Pakistan, of economic enslavement. He further said that many other countries of the region including Iran had also expressed interest to join this project.
