KARACHI: Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim has called upon all political parties to strictly abide by the code of conduct.

In a letter to leaders of one hundred and eightysix political parties‚ he said respect of code of conduct is imperative to make electoral atmosphereconducive.

He warned that nobody would be allowed to sabotage election process.

The chief election commissioner urged political parties to promote peace and brotherhood during the polls.

Meanwhile‚ talking to a delegation of Opposition Ittehad Sindh in Karachi‚ Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim said reshuffle of bureaucrats is under consideration to remove the reservations of the political parties.

The delegation demanded inter-provincial transfers of bureaucrats in Sindh like that of Punjab province.
