ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Syed Mehboob Shah, Senior Vice President of Direct Selling Association of Pakistan (DSAP) and General Manager of the Dubai region for UK-based Learning Enterprises Organisation Ltd (LEO), has passed away.

The sudden demise of Syed Mehboob Shah occurred at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad on Thursday night after he suffered a fatal heart attack. His funeral prayers took place at H-11 graveyard in Islamabad at 03:00 pm on Friday (November 11, 2016).

His death left millions of people around the world left in shock and sorrow as not only Syed Mehboob Shah’s efforts paved the way for the establishment of DSA Pakistan and getting LEO registered with DSAP but he also earned a lot of respect among people by virtue of his humble behavior.

Mehboob Shah began his career as a Civil Servant and worked on very high profiled important assignments in different Ministries and Departments of Government of Pakistan for about 10 years. Later he gained more than 12 years work experience in Network Marketing and Direct Selling Industry both on network side and Corporate Side.

Shah worked in one of the largest Commercial Bank financial Institution of Pakistan in Operations, Management and Training. He also worked as General Manager, Head of Operations, Head of Corporate and Legal Affairs in Pharmaceutical, Real Estate, Housing and different other Private Sector Organizations.

In recognition of rendering Social services and uplift of the Community, Mehboob Shah was awarded Gold Medal by the Government of Pakistan.

Currently, apart from being the Senior Vice President of DSA Pakistan, Syed Mehboob Shah was also associated with LEO – a global, entrepreneurship training and education company.

Syed Mehboob Shah made his last official appearance in a meeting organized by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Standing Committee on Direct Selling in collaboration with DSAP at the FPCCI Head Office in Karachi on November 9, 2016.
