National71% TDP families repatriated since March 2015: FDMA

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: FATA disaster management authority (FDMA) has revealed that 71 percent temporarily displaced families (TDP) have been sent to their homes since March 2015.

According to the new statistics released by the authority about the temporarily displaced families from the tribal agencies, repatriation process of 71 percent families have been completed and they have returned to their homes.

Data showed that 46,000 families from the North Waziristan and 36,000 families from the South Waziristan have repatriated to their hometown.

It further revealed that currently 98,466 TDP families are residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the process of their repatriation has been started.
