PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Monday asserted that no effort is being spared to bring the entire FATA at par with the comparatively developed areas of rest of the country.

He said launching of fire brigade system in four tribal agencies is another step in this direction.

He was speaking at a function arranged for distribution of five fire fighting vehicles amongst the respective agency administrations.

According to the break up; two vehicles went to Kurram Agency while the political administrations of South Waziristan, North Waziristan and Orakazi Agencies received one fire fighting vehicle each.

The Governor formally handed over the keys of the vehicle to each concerned official.
