ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given a package of Rs five billion for the beautification and environment protection of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

Planting a sapling at Saidpur village in Islamabad on Monday, he said that our capital is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world and it will be turned into a model city, radio Pakistan reported.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said that environment protection will be made part of syllabus in order to create awareness amongst children about climate change.

The Minister of State said that 300,000 saplings will be planted in Islamabad during the monsoon plantation campaign.
