RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The security forces on Tuesday successfully carried out airstrikes and ground operation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing at least 14 terrorists and injuring further 11.

In a statement, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that nine hideouts of terrorists were also destroyed in strikes from air and operation through ground forces conducted in high treacherous mountainous area of Rajgal village of Khyber agency along the Pak-Afghan border.

“Nine hideouts were destroyed through aerial strikes and ground operation, large dumps/terrorist dens were hit precisely,” the Director General ISPR Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa told in a twitter message.

Bajwa said that the resolute action will reduce cross border movement of terrorists.

Earlier in the morning, an operation was launched along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border to reinforce troops deployment in Rajgal valley to effectively check and guard against terrorists movement along high mountains and all weather passes in Khyber Agency.
