Foreign OfficePakistan asks Middle Eastern countries to raise their voice for Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan on Friday conveyed its serious concern to the Middle East countries over the brutal killings of innocent civilians by the Indian forces.

In a statement, the Foreign Office said that the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi briefed Ambassadors of the Middle East countries in Islamabad on Friday over the grave human rights violations taking place in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Fatemi conveyed Pakistan’s serious concern over the brutal killings of innocent civilians by the Indian forces.

The special assistant said that Muslims in occupied Kashmir looked towards their Muslim brethren in the Middle East at this difficult and challenging time.

Fatemi emphasized that in the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood in the Muslim Ummah, the Middle Eastern states should raise their voice and condemn the blatant human rights violations of innocent Kashmiri Muslims in the Indian-held Kashmir.

The special assistant said that the inhumane and oppressive measures cannot deter the valiant people of Jammu and Kashmir from their demand of exercising their right to self-determination, in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.
