LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan will observe July 20 as Black Day to condemn Indian barbarism in Occupied Kashmir.

Earlier, a Special Cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Friday decided to observe Black Day on Tuesday.

In his remarks during the meeting, the prime minister termed the movement of Kashmiris as a movement of freedom and said that Pakistan will continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support for Kashmiris in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

The prime minister said that Indian brutalities will give impetus to the freedom struggle. He said that 700,000 Indian soldiers deployed in Occupied Kashmir could not suppress the struggle of Kashmiris.

Terming Burhan Wani as martyr of independence movement, Sharif said that Kashmiri people will get their right to self-determination for which the whole Pakistani nation is standing behind them.

Nawaz Sharif directed all the relevant departments to highlight Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces at international fora.

It was also decided that a joint session of the Parliament will be convened to discuss situation in Occupied Kashmir.
