RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew on Friday held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi.British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew and General Raheel Sharif

In a statement, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security during the meeting.

The meeting followed a three-day visit of the COAS to two European Union members Germany and Czech Republic.

During his visit which he paid earlier this week, General Raheel met defence and civilian leadership of the two counties and held discussion on bilateral military relations, enhancement of defence and security cooperation.
