ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The nine night long Mehfil-e-Shabina will commence at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad from Sunday night (June 26) with the recitation of the first para of the Holy Quran by former Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Muhammad Saleh Abu Majid in Namaz-e-Taraveeh.

According to Dawah Academy official, the Mehfil-e-Shabina would continue till Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 29, 1437 AH.

A total of 12 Qura/ Huffaz would recite the whole Holy Quran from Sunday mid night to Sehri.

The Qayam-ul-Lail would continue till 29 Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

Other Qura scheduled to recite various paras of the Holy Quran during Taraveeh included Qari Abdul Rehman Baz; Qari Sajjad Elahi; Qari Yahya Siraj; Qari Naeem-ullah Jan; Qari Abdul Qayyum; Qari Attaur Rehman Abid;Qari Abdul Rehman Hamid; Qari Jamaluddin Afghani;Qari Qasim Jan,; Qari Shamsul Islam and Qari Abdul Rehman Ghafari.
