ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Islamabad Market Committee Monday issued price list of vegetables and fruits for Ramazan/Sasta Bazaars set up at Pakistan Town, Bhara Kahu and Tarlai areas.

According to a spokesman of the market, the rates of vegetables at the Ramazan/Sasta Bazaars of Islamabad are as under:

Potato per kilogram is Rs 28, Potato Store Rs 23, Onion Rs 27, Tomato Rs 32, Ginger Rs 85, Garlic desi Rs 175, Garlic (China) Rs 175, Lemon desi Rs 108, Lady Finger Rs 32, Pumpkin Rs 32, Brinjal Rs 32, Peas Rs 112, Farsh Bean Rs 78, Tanda Walaiti Rs 64, Tanda desi Rs 64, Cucumber Rs 48, Capsicum Rs 52/45, Green Chilli Rs 50, Cauliflower Rs 68/45, Cabbage Rs 34, Bitter gourd Rs 32, Green Zucchini Rs 32, Spinach Rs 33, Raddish Rs 30, Turnip Rs 45, Maroo Rs 42, Yam Rs 64, Carrot Rs 45, Chicken Rs 139 per kg and Egg per dozen Rs 70.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Sasta Bazaars are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 140/120, Apple White Rs 90/65, Apple Ambri Rs 85/60, Apple China Rs 185/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 245/215, Banana Pak Rs 138/100, Banana Ind Rs 155/135, Pear China Rs 158, Apricot Swat Rs 108/85, Apricot Kabli Rs 165/135, Melon desi Rs 30/20, White Melon Rs 25/18, Water Melon Rs 20/15, Peach Rs 145/125, Mango Sundhari Rs 110/85, Mango Maldeh Rs 65/52, Mango Almas Rs 62/48, Mango langra Rs 66/50, Mango Chusa White Rs 118/85, Mango Dosari Rs 78/65, Mango Ratool Rs 135/120, Mango Desi Rs 60/45, Plum Rs 148/130 and Garma Rs 58/40.

The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against shopkeepers.
