NationalFederal Ombudsman decides to introduce E-Pension system

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In order to resolve public grievances, Federal Ombudsman Salaman Faruqui has decided to introduce E-Pension system in Federal Government Department.

“Federal Ombudsman has decided to introduce E-Office pension system in federal government department and seek presentation from Ministry of Information Technology on the status of implementation of E-Office Federal Government Departments”, said Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar, Senior Advisor (Law/ Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis.

He said with introduction of E-pension system across the country, pension cases will be finalized before the day of retirement of government servants and will make a good coordination between AGPR and the Federal Government Departments.

He further said that special instructions had been issued to all Federal Government Departments for automation of service books of government employees, their pension and ACRs.

Further direction has been issued that pending inquiries against department should be finalized before the date of retirement.

Hafiz Ahsaan said that presentation has also been sought from Ministry of Information Technology implementation on the status of implementation of E-Office Federal Government Departments and the matter is fixed on June 7.

He said that independent website for handling of complaints of Overseas Pakistanis has been connected with 40 Federal Government Agencies.
