PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Three terrorists were killed in a powerful blast on Safaid Sang Road in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Capital on Friday morning.

The police said that the terrorists were riding a motorcycle in Regi Lalma area of Peshawar and as one of them detonated his suicide jacket, an explosion took place. Resultantly, all three terrorists were killed while a nearby vehicle also destroyed.

The police also recovered another suicide jacket, nine grenades and an AK-47 kalashnikove from the site in the incident.

The identity of the victims could not be immediately ascertained. Bodies of all the three terrorists were shifted to hospital for postmortem.
