ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 21,319.4 million on May 13, 2016.

Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement of Central Bank issued on Thursday said that Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 16,517.5  million while Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were US$ 4,801.9 million on May 13.

The Central Bank said that during the week ending May 13, 2016, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by US $485 million to US $16,518 million, compared to US$ 16,033 million in the previous week.
