ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister of State for Capital Administration & Development Division (CA&DD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary Wednesday said that the federal government was working to make Islamabad an ideal destination for diplomatic community.

In a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador of Argentina to Pakistan Ivan Ivanissevich, who was called on him, he welcomed him and hoped that his stay in Pakistan would be a pleasant experience.

He said according to the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Islamabad is being developed as a world class model capital.

The beautification of the city’s parks, reconstruction of roads and infrastructure, preservation of Marghalla hills forest, arrangement of cultural and social events and such other projects for development of the city would attract the diplomatic community, he added.

He also apprised the newly appointed ambassador on Polyclinic Hospital’s extension project and informed him that one of the floors of proposed new building of the hospital will be named after Argentine.

The visiting ambassador expressed his desire to further extend the cordial bilateral relations between the two countries and offered the co-operation of his country for training of nursing staff in Pakistan.

He further said that Pakistan can benefit from the state-of -the -art bio medical equipment and machinery and technology available in Argentine.
