LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved three development schemes of development sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 2304.177 million.

These schemes were approved in the 36th meeting of PDWP of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Chairman Punjab P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Provincial Secretary P&D, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to the spokesman of P&DD, the approved development schemes included: Establishment of Flyover across Railway Track in Raiwind City, Lahore at the cost of Rs 1047.034 million, Widening/Improvement of Palace Road from Pull Dari Sangi to UAE Palace length: 12.00 Km (Revised) at the cost of Rs 938.024 million and Establishment of I.C.U. at B.V. Hospital Bahawalpur (Revised) at the cost of Rs 319.119 million.
