National268,343 workers registered for overseas employment so far in 2016

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE) has registered 268,343 workers for overseas employment so far in the year 2016 in the different fields.

According to an official source, the BEOE has registered 1904 engineers, 704 doctors, 72 nurses, 348 teachers, 1567 accountants, 1505 managers, 4268 welders and 107 Stenographers for overseas employment.

The others include 693 storekeepers, 9478 persons in agriculture field, 3407 clerks and typists, 3342 supervisors, 20738 masons, 11229 carpenters, 9760 electricians, 3313 cooks, 7562 plumbers and 3985 waiters/bearers.

The authority has also registered 9271 steel fixers, 9431 painters, 87298 labourers, 12939 technicians, 5209 mechanics and 336 cable jointers, 33655 drivers and 3643 operators.

The other are 2700 tailors, 3152 surveyors, 6493 Fitters, 1532 denters, 1080 computer analysts, 274 designers, 241 goldsmiths and 77 Pharmacists, 712 riggers ,4642 salesmen, 1202 draftsmen, 453 blacksmiths, five photographers, seven artists and others.
