ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has set the target to enroll two million children of beneficiaries in schools by the end of this year.

An official source told on Wednesday that steps have been taken in the different remote areas of the country to achieve the target of enrolling children in schools.

He said that on the special direction of Prime Minister, (Waseela-e-Taleem (WeT) programme of BISP is working very well for the enrollment of the children.

He said that over 250,000 children were enrolled during the three months, adding that BISP intends to expand WeT programe across the country so that maximum number of deserving children may exercise their right to education.

He reiterated that cooperation of various organizations in this regard is appreciatable which are working with the BISP.
