ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has that the Balochistan province would reap immense benefits out of multi-billion dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.

In a meeting with the Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo who called him at the PM House in Islamabad on Monday and discussed matters of national significance, the prime minister said that development of Balochistan is a top priority.

“Our aim is to bring the Province of Balochistan at par with rest of the country,” he said.

The prime minister said that their energies are focused at the socio-economic uplift of the people of Balochistan so that they can actively participate in the progress and prosperity of the country.

Sharif said that Gawadar will be a state of the art port city that would generate employment opportunities for the residents and result in the reduction poverty. He said that all their efforts are directed towards empowering our citizens so that they can exercise their fullest potential without any hurdle.

In his remarks, Mir Hasil Bizenjo supported the prime minister’s decision of formation of the Judicial Commission, and said that he has complete faith in commitment of the prime minister.

Mir Hasil Bizenjo lauded the leadership of the prime minister for initiating massive infrastructure development projects and welfare schemes for the residents of Balochistan.

The Senator said that under the leadership of the prime minister, the consolidation of gains made through revival of peace and security in the province has started.

Bizenjo said that the ongoing development projects and welfare schemes across the province would revolutionize the lives of the residents of Balochistan.
