PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra Friday said that no decision about future status of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) would be imposed on tribal people.

He said all the stakeholders would be consulted before going for shaping up future of tribal areas.

He was talking to a representative delegation of Utmankhel tribe of North Waziristan led by Khan Marjan Khan here at Governor House.

The entire nation look at the sacrifices of tribesmen for the integrity and solidarity of the country with honor and dignity and now the time has come to take effective measure for their wellbeing.

The government was taking steps for bringing the tribal people into national mainstream, dignified return of TDP’s and rehabilitation of the affected families.

The peace has restored in the country including FATA due to successful launching of Zarb-e-Azab operation while the process of repatriating TDP’s was smoothly going on.

The Governor informed that dignified return of TDP’s of North Waziristan and their rehabilitation was top priority of the government.

He said that peace has been restored in the entire country due to sacrifices of valiant tribal people and security forces.

He said that massive reforms were on cards in accordance with the aspirations of tribal people for bringing improvement in their socio-economic life. The Governor also heard problems of the delegation and assured his cooperation to address the issues.
