TIKRIT: At least nine people were killed while 20 others sustained injuries in a suicide attack that hit a police headquarters in the central Iraqi city of Tikrit on Monday, police said.
The bomber detonated his explosives-laden tanker in the capital of Salahudin province 170km north of Baghdad in the morning attack, Xinhua reported, citing police sources.
Security forces have cordoned off all roads leading to central Tikrit.
