National Assembly66 gas reserves discovered during tenure of present govt, NA told

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Parliamentary Secretary for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shehzadi Umerzadi on Thursday told the National Assembly that 66 new gas reserves discovered during the tenure of the present government.

Replaying to a question of MNA Belum Hasnain, she said that the seven companies have been granted the licenses for exploration of oil and gas.

She told that the companies those gave granted license including Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited, OMV, Krithar Pakistan, Al-Haj Enterprises and Tallahasse Resources Inc.

She said that the royalty of gas and oil being deposits before the relevant provinces.
