ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan and Iran Chambers of Commerce and Industries will hold a joint business forum here in near future to boost bilateral investment and trade between the two brotherly countries.

This was agreed at a meeting between Dr. Miftah Ismail, Minister of State and Chairman, Board of Investment with Mohsen Lalalpour, President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture here at the Board of Investment (BOI) on Friday.

Dr. Miftah Ismail welcoming Mohsen Lalalpour said that Pakistan enjoys brotherly relations with Iran and wanted to boost investment and trade between them for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

The Chairman BOI stressed the need for collaboration between the business community of the two countries for further enhancing trade and investment between them.

Welcoming the idea of holding investment forum between private sectors of the two countries, Dr. Miftah expressed the hope that this would help further strengthen the bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.

Dr. Miftah Ismail Minister of State (MOS)/ Chairman BOI said on Tuesday that the Laws have been tailored to safeguard and ensure protection to the investments.
