SUKKUR, Pakistan: Deputy Commissioner Dr Asghar Waheed Bhutti on Tuesday said the Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah would inaugurate the Sukkur Festival on March 23, here at Lab-e-Mehran.
This he said while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements regarding Sukkur Festival at his office here.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Commissioner-I Abdul Ghaffar Soomro, District Officer Livestock, Deputy Director Agriculture, District Education Officer and members of Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The DC said that more than 50 stalls of different local and cultural products would be established in the Festival. Food stalls and children fun activities would also be arranged, he added.
He directed all the concerned officers to left no stone unturned for the better arrangements.
The DC directed all Assistant Commissioners to play their active role in successfully organizing the Sukkur festival.
