ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Turkey on Wednesday condemned terrorists attack in Mardan and reaffirmed its support to Pakistan in fighting terrorism.
On Tuesday, a suicide attacker rammed his explosive-laden motorcycle with the gate of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Regional Office in Mardan that left at least 26 persons dead and over 50 injured.
“We reaffirm our readiness to provide every support to brotherly Pakistan in their ongoing fight against terrorism,” said a statement of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issued here by Turkish Embassy on Wednesday.
“We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist act and convey our condolences to the people and Government of Pakistan. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and hope for a speedy recovery to the wounded.”
The statement said this attack, took place at a time when Pakistan was both striving to “enhance stability within the country and contributes actively to the efforts to establish peace and stability in the region,” and hoped it would not erode its determination.
