ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazl Chaudhry said on Friday that Pakistan had the desire to have cordial relations with Afghanistan.

Talking to media outside the parliament, he said “Strong and stable Afghanistan will ensure peace in the region and Pakistan desires cordial and friendly ties with Afghanistan.”

To a question, he said that operation against terrorists had been launched after evolving consensus among all the stakeholders. He said record achievements had been made in the operation against terrorists.

However, he asked other countries including Afghanistan to take action against disgruntled elements operating in their sides.

To a question, he said that law & order would further improve in Balochistan with the appointment of new Chief Minister.

To another question he said Rangers had played a key role in improving law & order in the Karachi city.
