ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) is equipping itself to offer cutting-edge technologies in areas of broadband to financial sector and other departments.

In this regard, NTC – Pakistan’s premier national converged services telecom operator for government organizations, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Redtone Telecommunication Pakistan (RTP) here on Thursday.

A per agreement, both NTC and RTP will collectively offer cutting-edge technologies in areas of border to border connectivity, broadband, wide area networking, next generation satellite communications, IP backhauling and IP trunking and various other new technology innovations.

Commenting on this partnership, Chairman NTC, Viqar Rashid Khan said NTC has a mandate to provide secure telecommunication capabilities to all government organizations and by joining hands with Redtone Telecommunications, we are now in a position to enrich our portfolio of offerings with leading edge and innovative solutions.

Chief Executive Officer of RTP, Nadeem Yunus said it is our obligation to support NTC’s ICT objectives with new technologies.
