ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) had established seven Housing Schemes at Lahore, Gujrat, Larkana, Dadu, Peshawar, Turbat and Mirpur (AJK) for overseas Pakistanis.

Work on two housing schemes was in progress in Zone-V Islamabad and Lahore Phase-1 extension, said an official sources.

One vocational training institute, 4 colleges and 20 Public Schools had been established throughout Pakistan which provide fee concession up to 25% to Children of Overseas Pakistanis up to two children.

The foundation also introduced Financial Aid Scheme to provide financial assistance to the destitute families of Overseas Pakistanis in the event of death or disability of an Overseas Pakistani.

Foreign Exchange Remittance Card (FERC) had been issued to Overseas Pakistanis to facilitate them to Transfer foreign remittance while separate counters for special handling at all international airports in Pakistan had been established.

Facilitation Counters for Overseas Pakistanis at major International Airports in Pakistan had also been set- up.

Complaint Cell had been established in OPF to expeditiously process the complaints of Oversees Pakistanis while Eye Hospitals at Mirpur (Azad Kashmir) and DG  Khan had been established.
