PESHAWAR, Pakistan: District Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan Tuesday revoked tax on electricity generator used by trade centres, shops, CNG and Patrol stations and assured resolution of traders’ issues on priority basis.

Addressing the participants of a meeting between District Administration and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KPCCI) here, he said the tax has been revoked on request of traders.

He said the district government wants good relations with traders and business community, adding that the district government in collaboration with public and private partnership would take affective steps in health and education sectors as well as beautification of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, President KPCCI Zulfiqar Ali Khan hailed the decision of district Nazim and assured full cooperation of business community with local government.
